Chantal Hamilton began her training at Cumbrae soon after the studio opened it's doors in the Ottawa area. Through her studies at the school she went on to achieve her Associate Membership certification with the British Association of Teachers of Dancing (BATD), and completed her Intermediate level ballet with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD). Chantal teaches ballet, jazz, and contemporary at Cumbrae, and has taught as a guest teacher/choreographer for other studios and gymnastic clubs in the region.
Chantal has appeared at The National Arts Centre in The Nutcracker with Les Grands Ballet Canadiens, and has performed with Toronto's Kaboom Inc. Further training was received at The American Theatre Dance Workshop in New York as well as at L'École Secondaire De La Salle dance program.
Upon graduating from De La Salle, Chantal pursued a degree in Psychology as well as a certificate in labour relations at the University of Ottawa. Now a Senior Advisor with the federal government, and mother of two, she is pleased to be back teaching at Cumbrae.
